The Gentlewoman: The magazine equivalent to a Chanel dress –  stylish, smart and deliciously understated. Tightly edited with a fab selection of beautifully written stories covering politics, fashion, beauty and inspiring women, you will read it obsessively from cover-to-cover. If only it came out more than twice a year. My heart skips a beat when it lands on my doorstep.

revised gourmand

The Gourmand: Gosh this looks great on my coffee table. The photography is Irving Penn-esque and the writing is as moreish as Banoffee Pie. Eloquent and elegant, it merges food with culture in a most delicious manner.

alla carta.collage

Alla Carta: Three super-chic Italian ladies are the brains behind this sleek little food bible. Expect lots of lovely editorial on eating-out, art, people, fashion and food accompanied by exquisitely styled photography.  Yum.

Bon Appetit: Probably my favourite food mag of all. Sure, it’s not as clever creatively as some of the others, but it’s a great kitchen resource and always makes me ravenously-hungry. This is one worth subscribing too.

Fricote: A chic, slimline Parisian magazine with a focus on delicious food photography, with a twist. Whilst you may not be able to read a word, you’ll die for the brilliant creative direction and fabulous pics. Total food porn.

Muse: Talk about glossy. With its high-shine varnished finish, Muse is so slick it practically slips out of your hands! A gorgeous compilation of fashion, art, design, music and visual culture, it is created with an emphasis on ‘the new’, making it the perfect way to stay on-trend.

Vogue Paris Collage

Vogue Paris: Of course you know this one, but I can’t not include it. It is the best fash mag on the planet (according to moi) with aspirational and truly beautiful styling. I find maje inspiration every time I open it.  In this case, you can judge a book by its cover. J’adore.

Would love to know what mags are sitting on your coffee tables. Have I missed anything we should all be reading? Let me know!
